Before that it was a PowerBook G3, OS 9.1, IE 5? I don't recall getting the problem on that computer.

The first post about this was months after I purchased my current Mac.

A week or so ago, it happened on an unsecure wireless network I was 'borrowing'.

But wait! There's GOOD NEWS!

Yesterday morning I ran the software update. I'm now on OS 10.4.7 and Safari 2.0.4 and I haven't had the problem since doing the update.

Of course, I know I just jinxed myself.....

That IS good news!

I was starting to wonder if all Mac users were having this problem.

Please do let me know if the slow loading occurs with the new versions of the OS and Safari.
